nirudhyamānas taiś cāpi gāndhāraiḥ pāṇḍunandanaḥ

Translation

ਗਾਂਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਕਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਪਾਂਡੂਨੰਦਨ (ਅਰਜੁਨ) ਰਣ-ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਅਡੋਲ ਖੜਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
