स्वसेति वा महाबाहो हतपुत्रेति वा पुन: । प्रपन्ना मामियं चेति दयां कर्तुमिहाहसि
svāseti vā mahābāho hataputreti vā punaḥ | prapannā mām iyaṃ ceti dayāṃ kartum ihārhasi ||
ਹੇ ਮਹਾਬਾਹੋ! ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਭੈਣ ਸਮਝ ਲੈ, ਜਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ-ਹਾਰੀ ਦੁਖਿਆਰੀ ਸਮਝ ਲੈ, ਜਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਈ ਹੋਈ ਕਰੁਣਾ-ਯੋਗ ਅਬਲਾ ਸਮਝ ਲੈ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵੀ ਵੇਖੇਂ, ਇੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
