Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | dīnāndhakṛpaṇādibhyo dīyamānena cāniśam | babhau paramakalyāṇo mahastasya mahāgireḥ ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਗਰੀਬਾਂ, ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ, ਦਰਿਦਰਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੁਕੇ ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਨ-ਪਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ; ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਮਹੋਤਸਵ ਪਰਮ ਕਲਿਆਣਮਈ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਮਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
