सौदाय उवाच न चैवैषा गति: क्षेम्या न चान्या विद्यते गति: । एतन्मे मतमाज्ञाय प्रयच्छ मणिकुण्डले

Transliteration

saudāya uvāca | na caivaiṣā gatiḥ kṣemyā na cānyā vidyate gatiḥ | etan me matam ājñāya prayaccha maṇikuṇḍale |

Translation

ਸੌਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਮੈਂ ਜਿਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਲਿਆਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ; ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਯ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਣੀ-ਜੜੇ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਇਸ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇ।
