Brahmopadeśa on Saṃnyāsa, Tapas, and Jñāna (ब्रह्मोपदेशः—संन्यासतपोज्ञानविमर्शः)
निर्द्धदद्ों निर्ममस्कारो नि:ःस्वधाकार एव च । निर्गुणं नित्यमद्धन्द्ध प्रशमेनेव गच्छति
nirdvandvo nirmamaskāro niḥsvadhākāra eva ca | nirguṇaṁ nityam advandvaṁ praśameneva gacchati ||
ਵਾਯੁਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜੋ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਦ੍ਵੰਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ, ਨਮਸਕਾਰ-ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਵਧਾਕਾਰ (ਪਿਤ੍ਰ-ਕਾਰਜ) ਤਿਆਗ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਅੰਤਰ-ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ, ਦ੍ਵੰਦਾਤੀਤ, ਨਿਤ੍ਯ ਤੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
