कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्
The Wheel of Time and the Norms of the Āśramas
देवतातिथिशिष्टाशी निरतो वेदकर्मसु । इज्याप्रदानयुक्तश्चन यथाशक्ति यथासुखम्
devatātithiśiṣṭāśī nirato vedakarmasu | ijyāpradānayuktaś ca yathāśakti yathāsukham ||
ਵਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਤਿਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਜੋ ਅੰਨ ਬਚੇ, ਉਹੀ ਆਪ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵੇਦ-ਵਿਹਿਤ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੱਗ ਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਵੇ।
