संस्कारै: संस्कृत: पूर्व यथावच्चरितव्रत: । जातौ गुणविशिष्टायां समावर्तेत तत्त्ववित्‌

Transliteration

saṃskāraiḥ saṃskṛtaḥ pūrvaṃ yathāvac caritavrataḥ | jātau guṇaviśiṣṭāyāṃ samāvarteta tattvavit ||

Translation

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਿਧੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਵੇਦੋਕਤ ਨਿਯਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਰਯ-ਵ੍ਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਵਤ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਤੱਤਵਵੇਤਾ ਸਮਾਵਰਤਨ-ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉੱਤਮ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰੇ।
