Brahmopadeśa: Adhipatitva-kathana, Dharma-lakṣaṇa, and Kṣetra–Kṣetrajña Viveka
Book 14, Chapter 43
दीक्षितानां तथा यज्ञो दैवानां मघवा तथा । दिशामुदीची विप्राणां सोमो राजा प्रतापवान्
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
ਦੀਖਿਆ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੱਗ ਹੀ ਅਧਿਪਤੀ ਹੈ; ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਘਵਾ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਅਧਿਪਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੀ ਸੋਮਰਾਜਾ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
