बाह्यान्तराणां शत्रूणां स्वभाव॑ पश्य भारत | यज्ञ पश्यति तद्‌ भूतं मुच्यते स महाभयात्‌,भारत! बाहरी और भीतरी शत्रुओंके स्वभावको देखिये-समझिये (ये मायामय होनेके कारण मभिथ्या हैं, ऐसा निश्चय कीजिये)। जो मायिक पदार्थोको ममत्वकी दृष्टिसे नहीं देखता, वह महान्‌ भयसे छुटकारा पा जाता है

bāhyāntarāṇāṃ śatrūṇāṃ svabhāvaṃ paśya bhārata | yajñaḥ paśyati tad bhūtaṃ mucyate sa mahābhayāt ||

ਹੇ ਭਾਰਤ! ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਤੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ ਤੇ ਸਮਝੋ। ਜੋ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਮੇਰਾ’ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਹਾਂਭੈ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
