पप्रच्छ तमृषिं चापि वैशम्पायनमच्युतम्‌ । कथावशेषं धर्मज्ञो वनवासस्य सत्तम

Transliteration

papraccha tam ṛṣiṁ cāpi vaiśampāyanam acyutam | kathāvaśeṣaṁ dharmajño vanavāsasya sattama sādhūśiromaṇe tatpaścāt ||

Translation

ਫਿਰ ਧਰਮ-ਜਾਣੂ ਉਸ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਡਿਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਤੋਂ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਵਨਵਾਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਕਥਾ ਪੁੱਛੀ—“ਸਾਧੂ-ਸ਼ਿਰੋਮਣੀ! ਅਗਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੱਸੋ।”
