Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
एतत् सर्वमशेषेण पितामह यथातथम् | वेत्तुमिच्छामि धर्मज्ञ परं कौतूहलं हि मे
etat sarvam aśeṣeṇa pitāmaha yathātatham | vettum icchāmi dharmajña paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi me ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਪਿਤਾਮਹ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਘਾਟ ਦੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਧਰਮਜ੍ਞ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿਗਿਆਸਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਦਿਓ।
