घृतालाभे तु यो दद्यात्‌ तिलधेनुं यतव्रत: । स दुर्गात्‌ तारितो थेन्वा क्षीरनद्यां प्रमोदते

Transliteration

ghṛtālābhe tu yo dadyāt tiladhenuṁ yatavrataḥ | sa durgāt tārito dhenuvā kṣīranadyāṁ pramodate ||

Translation

ਘਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵ੍ਰਤ-ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਤਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਧੇਨੂ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧੇਨੂ-ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਤਰ ਕੇ ਖੀਰ-ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
