क्षेत्रभूमिं ददललोके शुभां श्रियमवाप्लुयात्‌

Transliteration

kṣetrabhūmiṁ dadaloke śubhāṁ śriyam avāpluyāt

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜੋ ਯੋਗ ਪਾਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਖੇਤੀ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੰਗਲਮਈ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੈਰ-ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
