अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
ततः प्रविश्य नगर कृत्वा पौर्वाह्निकी: क्रिया: । भुक्त्वा सभारयों रजनीमुवास स महाद्युति:
tataḥ praviśya nagaraṁ kṛtvā paurvāhṇikīḥ kriyāḥ | bhuktvā sabhāryo rajanīm uvāsa sa mahādyutiḥ ||
ਫਿਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੂਰਵਾਹਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਤੇਜਸਵੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਹਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਵਸਿਆ।
