अनरण्यो नरपतिर्जानुजंघस्तथैव च । कक्षसेनश्व राजर्षियें चान्ये चानुकीर्तिता:

Transliteration

anaraṇyo narapatir jānujāṅghas tathaiva ca | kakṣasenaś ca rājarṣir ye cānye cānukīrtitāḥ ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“(ਸਮਰਨਯੋਗ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ) ਨਰਪਤੀ ਅਨਰਣ੍ਯ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨੁਜੰਘ; ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਕ੍ਸ਼ਸੇਨ—ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਚਾਰੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।”
