Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
नानापुष्परजोमिश्रो गजदानाधिवासित: । दिव्यस्त्रीगीतबहुलो मारुतो5भिमुखो ववौ
nānāpuṣparajomiśro gajadānādhivāsitaḥ | divyastrīgītabahulo māruto 'bhimukho vavau ||
ਸਾਮ੍ਹਣੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਹਵਾ ਵਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ—ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਿਕਦੀ; ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਰਮਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਧੁਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰਮੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
