तथा भाद्रपदे मासि हृषीकेशेति पूजयन्‌ | सौत्रामणिमवाप्रोति पूतात्मा भवते च हि

Transliteration

tathā bhādrapade māsi hṛṣīkeśeti pūjayan | sautrāmaṇim avāpnoti pūtātmā bhavate ca hi ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਦ੍ਰਪਦ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ‘ਹ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੀਕੇਸ਼’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੌਤ੍ਰਾਮਣੀ ਯਜਨ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
