पर्यपृच्छेत् पतङ्गो ऽपि सौम्याशां चोत्तरे ऽहनि मध्ये तु पुष्करस्याथ भ्रमते दक्षिणायने
paryapṛcchet pataṅgo 'pi saumyāśāṃ cottare 'hani madhye tu puṣkarasyātha bhramate dakṣiṇāyane
ਪਤੰਗ (ਸੂਰਜ) ਵੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉੱਤਰਾਇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਮ੍ਯ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਖੋਜਦਾ-ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਦੱਖਣਾਇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਪੁਸ਼ਕਰ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
