Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
विप्रचित्ति: सिंहिकायां शतं चैकमजीजनत् । राहुज्येष्ठं केतुशतं ग्रहत्वं य उपागता: ॥ ३७ ॥
vipracittiḥ siṁhikāyāṁ śataṁ caikam ajījanat rāhu-jyeṣṭhaṁ ketu-śataṁ grahatvaṁ ya upāgatāḥ
ਵਿਪ੍ਰਚਿੱਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਿੰਹਿਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਇਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਣੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਠਾ ਰਾਹੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸੌ ਕੇਤੂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਗ੍ਰਹ-ਪਦ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ।
