Parīkṣit’s Inquiry into Vṛtrāsura’s Bhakti and the Beginning of Citraketu’s Trial
श्रीसूत उवाच परीक्षितोऽथ सम्प्रश्नं भगवान् बादरायणि: । निशम्य श्रद्दधानस्य प्रतिनन्द्य वचोऽब्रवीत् ॥ ८ ॥
śrī-sūta uvāca parīkṣito ’tha sampraśnaṁ bhagavān bādarāyaṇiḥ niśamya śraddadhānasya pratinandya vaco ’bravīt
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸੂਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਪਰੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਭਗਵਾਨ ਬਾਦਰਾਇਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਕਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ।
