रहूगण त्वमपि ह्यध्वनोऽस्य सन्न्यस्तदण्ड: कृतभूतमैत्र: । असज्जितात्मा हरिसेवया शितं ज्ञानासिमादाय तरातिपारम् ॥ २० ॥

Transliteration

rahūgaṇa tvam api hy adhvano ’sya sannyasta-daṇḍaḥ kṛta-bhūta-maitraḥ asaj-jitātmā hari-sevayā śitaṁ jñānāsim ādāya tarāti-pāram

Translation

ਹੇ ਰਹੂਗਣ! ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਯ-ਆਕਰਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੈਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮ-ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ—ਰਾਜਪਦ ਅਤੇ ਦੰਡ (ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਲਾਠੀ) ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇ। ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ-ਸੇਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਗਿਆਨ-ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ; ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਕਠਿਨ ਗੰਢ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਅਗਿਆਨ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
