श्रीराजोवाच भगवन् यानि चान्यानि मुकुन्दस्य महात्मन: । वीर्याण्यनन्तवीर्यस्य श्रोतुमिच्छामि हे प्रभो ॥ १ ॥

ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਪਰੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਹੇ ਭਗਵਨ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਨੰਤ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਮੁਕੁੰਦ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਸ਼ੌਰਯਮਈ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
