Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda to the Tenth Canto, Fifty-eighth Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “Kṛṣṇa Marries Five Princesses.”
This verse states that after killing Bhauma (Narakāsura), Kṛṣṇa brought back many beautiful women who had been held in captivity, making them His wives.
In the narrative of Canto 10, Śukadeva explains that many women were freed from Bhauma’s imprisonment and were accepted by Kṛṣṇa, highlighting His role as protector and deliverer.
Remembering Kṛṣṇa as the rescuer encourages devotees to seek divine shelter during oppression or fear and to act compassionately to help free others from harmful conditions.
