अनुपूर्ववत्सां धेनुमनड्वाहमुपबर्हणम्। वासो हिरण्यं दत्त्वा ते यन्ति दिवमुत्तमाम्

IAST Transliteration

anupūrvá-vatsāṃ dhénum anaḍvā́ham upabárhaṇam | vāsó híraṇyaṃ dátvā te yánti dívaṃ uttamā́m ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

A milch-cow with calf in due succession, a draught-ox, a cushion, cloth and gold—having bestowed these, they go unto the highest heaven.

ਕ੍ਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੱਛੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੁੱਧਾਰੂ ਗਾਂ, ਅਨਡ੍ਵਾਹ (ਹਲ ਜੋਤਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੈਲ), ਉਪਬਰ੍ਹਣ (ਆਸਨ/ਗੱਦੀ), ਕੱਪੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ—ਇਹ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
