Sukta 4
गुदा आसन्त्सिनीवाल्याः सूर्यायास्त्वचमब्रुवन्। उत्थातुरब्रुवन् पद ऋषभं यदकल्पयन्
gudā́ āsan sinīvālyā́ḥ sū́ryāyās tvácam abruvan | utthātúr abruvan padá ṛṣabháṃ yád akalpayan ||
The anus-parts were Sinīvālī’s; the skin, they said, was Sūryā’s. Of the Uprising One they spake the feet, when they fashioned the Bull aright.
ਗੁਦਾ-ਭਾਗ ਸਿਨੀਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਨ; ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੀ—ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਸੂਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਭ ਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਵਤ ਰਚਿਆ, ਤਦ ‘ਉਤ્થਾਤ੍ਰ’ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਚਨ ਆਖੇ।
