Sukta 58
अन्नम्। इन्द्रावरुणा सुतपाविमं सुतं सोमं पिबतं मद्यं धृतव्रतौ । युवो रथो अध्वरो देववीतये प्रति स्वसरमुप यातु पीतये
ánnam | índrā́varuṇā sutapāv imáṃ sutáṃ sómaṃ pibatáṃ mádyaṃ dhṛtavratāu | yuvó rátho adhvaró devávītaye práti svásaram úpa yātu pītáye
Food (be this). O Indra-Varuṇa, ye purifiers of the pressed, drink ye this pressed Soma, the exhilarating draught, O steadfast in ordinance. Your chariot—this sacrifice—let it come up in answer for the gods’ enjoyment, unto the Sister, for the drinking.
ਅੰਨ (ਆਹਾਰ) ਬਣੇ। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ-ਵਰੁਣ, ਸੁਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਹੇ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਵ੍ਰਤੌ (ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਵ੍ਰਤ ਵਾਲਿਓ), ਇਹ ਸੁਤ ਸੋਮ—ਇਹ ਮਦ੍ਯ, ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਕ ਪਾਨ—ਪੀਓ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰਥ—ਇਹ ਅਧ੍ਵਰ ਯਜ੍ਞ—ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਉੱਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਵੇ; ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ‘ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਰ’ (ਭੈਣ) ਵੱਲ ਉਪਸਥਿਤ ਹੋਵੇ।
