Sukta 61
विश्वस्रष्टा। मह्यमापो मधुमदेरयन्तां मह्यं सूरो अभरज्ज्योतिषे कम्। मह्यं देवा उत विश्वे तपोजा मह्यं देवः सविता व्यचो धात्
máhyam ā́paḥ mádhu-mad īrayantām máhyaṃ sū́ro abharaj jyótiṣe kám | máhyaṃ devā́ utá víśve tapo-jā́ máhyaṃ deváḥ savitā́ vyácaḥ dhāt
For me let the Waters, honeyed, set their powers in motion; for me the Sun hath brought joy for light. For me the Gods, yea all the Gods born of holy heat; for me may the god Savitṛ establish wide-reaching might.
ਵਿਸ਼ਵਸ੍ਰਸ਼ਟਾ! ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮਧੁਮਈ ਆਪಃ (ਜਲ) ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਰਤਿਤ ਕਰਨ; ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸੂਰਜ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਲਈ ਆਨੰਦਮਈ ਜੋਤ ਲਿਆਈ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਦੇਵ—ਹਾਂ, ਤਪੋਜਾ (ਤਪ ਤੋਂ ਜਨਮੇ) ਸਭ ਦੇਵ—ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਨ; ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਦੇਵ ਸਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਬਲ/ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰੇ।
