रुद्रस्य मूत्रमस्यमृतस्य नाभिः । विषाणका नाम वा असि पितॄणां मूलादुत्थिता वातीकृतनाशनी

IAST Transliteration

rudrásya mū́tram asi amṛ́tasya nā́bhiḥ | viṣāṇakā́ nā́ma vā́ asi pitṝṇā́ṃ mū́lād utthitā vātī́kṛta-nā́śanī ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thou art Rudra’s urine, the navel of ambrosia. ‘Viṣāṇakā’ indeed is thy name—sprung from the root of the Fathers—a destroyer of disorders wrought by Wind.

Translation

ਤੂੰ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਮੂਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀ ਨਾਭੀ ਹੈਂ। ‘ਵਿਸ਼ਾਣਕਾ’ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ—ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠੀ ਹੋਈ—ਵਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੇ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ।
