Sukta 111
उन्मत्ततामोचनम्। इमं मे अग्ने पुरुषं मुमुग्ध्ययं यो बद्धः सुयतो लालपीति । अतोऽधि ते कृणवद् भागधेयं यदानुन्मदितोऽसति
unmattatā́mocanam | imáṃ me agne púruṣaṃ mumugdhí ayáṃ yó baddháḥ suyató lā́lapīti | áto’dhí te kṛṇavad bhāgadhéyaṃ yadā́nunmaditó ásati
Release for me, O Agni, this man—this one who, bound fast, raves with babbling speech. Thereupon let him render unto thee thy due portion, when he shall be free from madness.
ਉਨਮੱਤਤਾ-ਮੋਚਨਮ੍: ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਦੇ; ਇਹ ਜੋ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਬੱਝਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਬਕਬਕ ਕਰਦੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਨਮੱਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਪ੍ਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਨਮੱਤਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਗਧੇਯ (ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਭਾਗ) ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰੇ।
