Sukta 28
पुरं देवानाममृतं हिरण्यं य आबेधे प्रथमो देवो अग्रे । तस्मै नमो दश प्राचीः कृणोम्यनु मन्यतां त्रिवृदाबधे मे
púraṁ devā́nām amṛ́taṁ híraṇyaṁ yá ābedhé prathamó devó ágre | tásmai námo dáśa prācī́ḥ kṛṇómy ánu manyatāṁ trivṛ́d ābadhé me ||
The Fort of the Gods—deathless, golden—he who first of gods in the beginning brake through (and won it): to him I make obeisance, tenfold, toward the eastern (quarters). Let him, in accord, approve me in my threefold establishing of the fort.
ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਰ—ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ, ਸੁਵਰਨਮਈ—ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਰੰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਦ ਕੇ (ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ) ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ; ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਦਸ-ਵਾਰੀ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਵ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਅਨੁਮੋਦਨ ਕਰੇ, ਮਨੋਂ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਵੇ।
