Sukta 36
न पिशाचैः सं शक्नोमि न स्तेनैर्न वनर्गुभिः । पिशाचास्तस्मान्नश्यन्ति यमहं ग्राममाविशे
ná piśācáiḥ sáṁ śaknomi ná stenáir ná vanargúbhiḥ | piśācā́s tásmān naśyanti yám aháṁ grā́mam āviśé ||
I hold no fellowship with Piśācas, nor with thieves, nor with forest-robbers. Therefore the Piśācas vanish away from that village which I enter.
ਮੈਂ ਪਿਸ਼ਾਚਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਨਾ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਨਾ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਲੁਟੇਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਜਿਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਪਿਸ਼ਾਚ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਦੂਰ ਭੱਜ) ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
