पापमोचनम्। वायोः सवितुर्विदथानि मन्महे यावात्मन्वद् विशथो यौ च रक्षथः । यौ विश्वस्य परिभू बभूवथुस्तौ नो मुञ्चतमंहसः

IAST Transliteration

pāpamócanam | vāyóḥ savitúr vidáthāni manmahe yā́v ātmanvád viśáthó yáu ca rákṣathaḥ | yáu víśvasya paribhū́ babhū́vathus táu no muñcatam áṁhasaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For release from evil: We ponder the ordinances of Vāyu and of Savitar—ye twain who, full of vital power, enter in, and who also guard; ye who have become the encompassing lords of all—do ye release us from distress and sin.

Translation

ਪਾਪ-ਮੋਚਨ ਲਈ: ਅਸੀਂ ਵਾਯੁ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਾਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ—ਹੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਵੋ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ; ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਭੂ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਧਿਪਤੀ ਬਣੇ ਹੋ—ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਓ।
