Sukta 6
अरसस्त इषो शल्योऽथो ते अरसं विषम्। उतारसस्य वृक्षस्य धनुष्टे अरसारसम्
arásas ta iṣóḥ śalyó ’thó te arásaṃ viṣám | utā́rasasya vṛkṣásya dhánus te arasa arásam ||
Sapless be the barb of thine arrow; and sapless be thy poison. Yea, sapless be the bow of the sapless tree: be thou sapless—sapless indeed.
ਤੇਰੇ ਤੀਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਡਾ ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ ਹੋਵੇ; ਤੇਰਾ ਵਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ ਹੋਵੇ। ਹਾਂ, ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ ਰੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਵੀ ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ ਹੋਵੇ; ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ ਹੋ—ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਰਸ-ਹੀਣ।
