Sukta 10
हिरण्यानामेकोऽसि सोमात् त्वमधि जज्ञिषे । रथे त्वमसि दर्शत इषुधौ रोचनस्त्वं प्र ण आयूंषि तारिषत्
híraṇyānām éko 'si sómāt tvám ádhi jajñiṣe | rathé tvám asi darśát iṣudhā́u rócanaḥ tváṁ prá no āyū́ṁṣi tāriṣat ||
Of golden things thou art the one; from Soma hast thou been engendered. On the chariot thou art conspicuous; in the quiver thou art shining: do thou bear our lives clean over.
ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਇਕੋ (ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ) ਹੈਂ; ਸੋਮ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਦਿਖਣਯੋਗ ਹੈਂ; ਇਸ਼ੁਧਿ (ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੂਣ) ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਆਯੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਦੇ—ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ।
