Sukta 80
इन्द्र ज्येष्ठं न आ भरं ओजिष्ठं पपुरि श्रवः । येनेमे चित्र वज्रहस्त रोदसी ओभे सुशिप्र प्राः
índra jyéṣṭhaṃ na ā́ bharaṃ ójiṣṭhaṃ pápuri śrávaḥ | yéna ime citra vajrahasta ródasī úbhe suśipra prā́ḥ ||
Indra, bring hither for us the chiefest, the most puissant, the abundant glory—wherewith, O wondrous Bolt-in-hand, O fair-lipped, thou didst fill forth both Heaven and Earth.
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ—ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ—ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਯਸ਼ (ਸ਼੍ਰਵಃ) ਲਿਆ। ਹੇ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ, ਵਜ੍ਰਹਸਤ, ਹੇ ਸੁਸ਼ਿਪ੍ਰ (ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੋਠਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ), ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ—ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ—ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
