Sukta 76
वने न वा यो न्यधायि चाक्रं छुचिर्वां स्तोमो भुरणावजीगः । यस्येदिन्द्रः पुरुदिनेषु होता नृणां नर्यो नृतमः क्षपावान्
váné na vā́ yó nyàdhāyi cakráṃ śúcir vāṃ stómō bhuraṇāvājīgaḥ | yásyed índraḥ purudínēṣu hótā nṛṇā́ṃ náryo nṛ́tamáḥ kṣapā́vān ||
Whether in the forest, or elsewhere, he who hath set the wheel in place—pure is the hymn, impetuous in its onset. He whose is Indra, on many a day, as Hotar: for men the manly, the most heroic, abiding through the nights.
ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਤੇ—ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਟਿਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ; ਸਤੋਤ੍ਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ—ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਰਦਾਨਾ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਵੀਰ, ਰਾਤਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਡੋਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ।
