वेत्था हि निरृतीनां वज्रहस्त परिवृजम्। अहरहः शुन्ध्युः परिपदामिव

IAST Transliteration

vétthā hí nírṛtīnām vájrahasta parivṛ́jam | áhar-ahaḥ śúndhyuḥ paripádām iva

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For thou, O thunderbolt-handed, knowest the sweeping-away of destructions: day after day they cleanse, as it were, the feet all round.

Translation

ਹੇ ਵਜ੍ਰਹਸਤ! ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ (ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ) ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵ੍ਰਜਮ੍—ਸਭ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਝਾੜ ਕੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਪਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਦਿਨੋਂਦਿਨ ਉਹ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
