उत स्म सद्म हर्यतस्य पस्त्यो३रत्यो न वाजं हरिवां अचिक्रदत्। मही चिद्धि धिषणाहर्यदोजसा बृहद् वयो दधिषे हर्यतश्चिदा

IAST Transliteration

utá smá sádma haryatásya pastyóḥ rathyó ná vājáṃ hárivā́n acikradat | mahī́ cíd dhí dhiṣáṇā haryatójasā bṛhád váyo dadhíṣe haryatáś cid ā́

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Yea, verily, in the abode of the Tawny One, in the two homes, Harivant cried aloud for strength as a chariot-man for the prize. For great indeed is Inspiration with tawny vigor: broad vital power thou settest here—tawny, desirable—unto us.

ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ, ਹਰ੍ਯਤ (ਤਾਮ੍ਰਵਰਨ) ਦੇ ਸਦਮ (ਨਿਵਾਸ) ਵਿੱਚ, ਦੋ ਪਸਤ੍ਯ (ਘਰਾਂ) ਵਿੱਚ, ਹਰਿਵੰਤ (ਹਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ) ਰਥਵਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਿੱਤ-ਬਲ ਲਈ ਉੱਚੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹਰ੍ਯਤ ਓਜਸ ਨਾਲ ਧਿਸ਼ਣਾ (ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ) ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ; ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਵਯ (ਜੀਵ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਤੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਧਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ—ਹਰ੍ਯਤ, ਇੱਛਿਤ—ਸਾਡੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ।
