द्रप्समपश्यं विषुणे चरन्तमुपह्वरे नद्यो अंशुमत्याः । नभो न कृष्णमवतस्थिवांसमिष्यामि वो वृषणो युध्यताजौ

IAST Transliteration

drapsám apaśyaṃ víṣuṇe cárantam upahvaré nádyo aṃśumátyāḥ | nábho ná kṛṣṇám avatásthivāṃsam íṣyāmi vo vṛṣaṇo yúdhyatā ājáu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

I saw the drop, moving apart in manifold wise, in the hollow, the streams of the radiant one; like a dark cloud it had settled down. I urge you on, O Bulls, as ye fight in the fray.

Translation

ਮੈਂ ਬੂੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ—ਵਿਸ਼ੁਣੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਢੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ—ਉਪਹ੍ਵਰ (ਖੱਡ/ਘਾਟੀ) ਵਿੱਚ, ਅੰਸ਼ੁਮਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਦੀ-ਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ। ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣ ਬੱਦਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਹ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਟਿਕ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਵೃಷਣੋ (ਵੀਰੋ/ਬਲਵਾਨੋ), ਜੌ (ਰਨ) ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੂਝਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੋ—ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
