सहस्रधारः पवते समुद्रो वाचमीङ्खयः । सोमः पती रयीणां सखेन्द्रस्य दिवेदिवे

IAST Transliteration

sahasrádhāraḥ pavate samudró vā́cam īṅkhayáḥ | sómaḥ pátī rayīṇā́ṃ sakhéndrasya divédive

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thousand-streamed he purifies, an ocean, setting Speech astir: Soma, the Lord of riches, Indra’s friend, from day to day.

Translation

ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ—ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਾਂਗ—ਵਾਕ (ਵਾਚ) ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੋਮ ਰਯਿ (ਧਨ-ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ) ਦਾ ਪਤੀ, ਇੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਸਖਾ, ਦਿਨੋਂ-ਦਿਨ (ਦਿਵੇਦਿਵੇ) ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
