Sukta 105
अनु ते शुष्मं तुरयन्तमीयतुः क्षोणी शिशुं न मातरा । विश्वास्ते स्पृधः श्नथयन्त मन्यवे वृत्रं यदिन्द्र तूर्वसि
ánu te śúṣmaṃ turáyantam īyatuḥ kṣóṇī śiśúṃ na mātárā́ | víśvā́s te spṛ́dhaḥ śnathayanta manyáve vṛtráṃ yád índra tū́rvasi
After thy rushing might the two sustaining Worlds speed, as two Mothers to a child. All rival hostilities of thine they crush for thy wrath, when, O Indra, thou prevailest over Vṛtra.
ਤੇਰੇ ਦੌੜਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼ਮ-ਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਦੋ ਧਾਰਕ ਲੋਕ—ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਯੌ—ਬੱਚੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੋ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਦ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨ੍ਯੁ (ਕ੍ਰੋਧ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਲਈ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਕੁਚਲ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
