प्रो ष्वस्मै पुरोरथमिन्द्राय शूषमर्चत । अभीके चिदु लोककृत् संगे समत्सु वृत्रहास्माकं बोधि चोदिता नभन्तामन्यकेषां ज्याका अधि धन्वसु
pró ṣv asmai purorátham índrāya śūṣám arcata | abhī́ke cid u lokakŕ̥t sáṅge samátsu vr̥trahā́smā́kaṁ bodhi coditā́ nábhantām anyakéṣāṁ jyā́kā ádhi dhánvasu
Forth, yea—sing strength to Indra, the chariot-leading. Even in close onset, the world-orderer, in encounter, in battles, Vṛtra-slayer—be mindful of us, our impeller. Let the bowstrings of the others snap upon their bows.
ਹਾਂ, ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੋ—ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ। ਨੇੜੇ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ, ਲੋਕ-ਕ੍ਰਮ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰਹੰਤਾ—ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ। ਹੋਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਿਆਕਾਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਣ।
