Sukta 93
यद् द्याव इन्द्र ते शतं शतं भूमीरुत स्युः । न त्वा वज्रिन्त्सहस्रं सूर्या अनु न जातमष्ट रोदसी
yád dyā́va indra te śatáṁ śatáṁ bhū́mīr utá syúḥ | ná tvā vajrin sahásraṁ sū́ryā ánu ná jātám áṣṭa ródasī ||
Though, O Indra, there were for thee a hundred heavens, a hundred earths besides—yet thee, O Bolt-bearer, not a thousand suns in sequence could match, within the eightfold compass of the two worlds.
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸੌ ਸੌ ਦਿਉਂ (ਆਕਾਸ਼) ਅਤੇ ਸੌ ਸੌ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਣ—ਤਾਂ ਵੀ, ਹੇ ਵਜ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ, ਦੋਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਠ-ਗੁਣਾ ਘੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੂਰਜ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
