आ तू सुशिप्र दंपते रथं तिष्ठा हिरण्ययम्। अध द्युक्षं सचेवहि सहस्रपादमरुषं स्वस्तिगामनेहसम्

IAST Transliteration

ā́ tú suśipra dampate ráthaṃ tiṣṭhā hiraṇyáyam | ádha dyukṣáṃ sacevahi sahásrapādam aruṣáṃ svastígāmanehásam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Come thou, fair-lipped, O Lord of the house; ascend the golden car. Then bring with thee the radiant power, thousand-footed, ruddy, hither-hastening, that goeth forth for our welfare.

Translation

ਹੇ ਸੁਸ਼ਿਪ੍ਰ (ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੋਠਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ), ਹੇ ਦੰਪਤੇ/ਗ੍ਰਿਹਪਤੀ, ਆਓ; ਸੁਵਰਨ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੋ। ਫਿਰ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆਓ—ਸਹਸ੍ਰਪਾਦ, ਅਰੁਸ਼ (ਲਾਲੀਮਾਯ), ਇੱਥੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ, ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁਖ-ਸਲਾਮਤੀ ਦੇ ਗਮਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਵਾਲੀ।
