Sukta 55
रायस्पोषप्राप्तिः। रात्रिंरात्रिमप्रयातं भरन्तोऽश्वायेव तिष्ठते घासमस्मै। रायस्पोषेण समिषा मदन्तो मा ते अग्ने प्रतिवेशा रिषाम
rāyas-poṣa-prā́ptiḥ | rā́trim rā́trim á-prayātaṃ bháranto ’śvā́ya iva tíṣṭhate ghāsám asmáī | rāyas-poṣéṇa sám-iṣā mádanto mā́ te agne práti-veśā ríṣāma
Attainment of wealth and thriving. Night after night, not departing, bringing (supply) as fodder for a horse, it stands ready—fodder for him. Rejoicing with wealth and thriving, with gathered nourishment, O Agni, let not thy successive entrants (guests) do us harm.
ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ। ਰਾਤੋਂ ਰਾਤ, ਨਾ ਤੁਰਦਿਆਂ, ਘੋੜੇ ਲਈ ਘਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਰਸਦ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਚਾਰੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਿਆਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਧਨ-ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ-ਸਾਮਗਰੀ (ਸਮਿਸ਼ਾ) ਨਾਲ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਵੇਸ਼ (ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤਿਥੀ/ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ਕ) ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ।
