अंहोमुचे प्र भरे मनीषामा सुत्राव्णे सुमतिमावृणानः । इदमिन्द्र प्रति हव्यं गृभाय सत्याः सन्तु यजमानस्य कामाः

IAST Transliteration

aṃhómúce prá bhare manīṣā́m ā́ sutrā́vṇe sumatím āvr̥ṇānáḥ | idám indra práti havyáṃ gr̥bhāya satyā́ḥ santu yajamā́nasya kā́māḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

To the releaser from anguish I bring forth my thought, choosing for myself good favor from the good protector. This oblation, O Indra, do thou accept in return: true be the sacrificer’s desires.

Translation

ਅੰਹੋ (ਕਲੇਸ਼) ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਨੀਸ਼ਾ (ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸੁਤ੍ਰਾਵਣ (ਚੰਗੇ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ) ਤੋਂ ਸੁਮਤਿ (ਸ਼ੁਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ/ਸਦਬੁੱਧੀ) ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਇਹ ਹਵ੍ਯ (ਆਹੁਤੀ) ਪ੍ਰਤਿਦਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰ; ਯਜਮਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਸੱਚ ਹੋਣ।
