इमा या ब्रह्मणस्पते विषुचीर्वात ईरते । सध्रीचीरिन्द्र ताः कृत्वा मह्यं शिवतमास्कृधि
imā́ yā́ brahmaṇaspate víṣu-cīr vā́ta ī́rate | sadhṛ́cīr indra tā́ḥ kṛtvā́ máhyaṃ śivátamā́ skṛdhi
These winds, O Lord of Prayer, that are stirred to wander wide apart—do thou, O Indra, making them to move together, set them for me in most benignant wise.
ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣਸਪਤੇ, ਇਹ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਸੁਚੀਃ—ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਖਿਲਰ ਕੇ ਭਟਕਣ ਲਈ ਉੱਠਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਚਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਵ—ਅਤਿ ਕਲਿਆਣਕਾਰੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਦੇ।
