Sukta 4
य इह पितरो जीवा इह वयं स्मः । अस्मांस्तेऽनु वयं तेषां श्रेष्ठा भूयास्म
yá ihá pitáro jīvā́ ihá vayáṃ smáḥ | asmā́ṃs té’nu vayáṃ téṣāṃ śréṣṭhā bhūyāsma
Those Fathers who are living here, and we who are here—following after them, may we become the foremost of them.
