अपूपवानपवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

apūpavā́n apavā́ṃś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutabhā́gā ihá sthá

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the cooked offering, rich in cake and rich in waters, be set down here. We do sacrifice unto the World-builders, the Path-makers, who have their portion in the gods’ oblation: be ye here present.

Translation

ਅਪੂਪ (ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਕੇਕ) ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਪ੍/ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਚਰੁ (ਪਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਵਿਸ਼) ਇੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਲੋਕਕ੍ਰਿਤਃ (ਲੋਕ ਦੇ ਰਚਨਹਾਰ) ਅਤੇ ਪਥਿਕ੍ਰਿਤੋ (ਮਾਰਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਜਦੇ ਹਾਂ—ਜੋ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੂਤਭਾਗਾ (ਹਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਹਨ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੋ।
