अपूपवान् मांसवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

apūpavā́n māṁsavā́ṁś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakŕ̥taḥ pathikŕ̥to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṁ hutabhā́gā ihá stha ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the cooked oblation, furnished with cake and bearing meat, sit down here. We sacrifice unto the World-makers, the Path-makers—those who, of the Gods, possess a share in the offered gift—be ye here present.

Translation

ਅਪੂਪ (ਕੇਕ) ਸਮੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂਸ-ਯੁਕਤ ਚਰੁ (ਪੱਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹਵਿ) ਇੱਥੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਵੇ। ਲੋਕਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਥਿਕ੍ਰਿਤ—ਦੇਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੂਤਭਾਗ (ਹਵਿ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ) ਹੈ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਜਦੇ ਹਾਂ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੋ।
